Skipton Swimmers Set to Make a Splash on the National Stage!

Skipton Swimming Club is absolutely buzzing with pride as we cheer on our incredible swimmers heading to two of the biggest events in the UK junior swimming calendar—the Swim England Next Gen Championships and the English Summer Nationals!

Both events will be making waves at the legendary Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield over the next couple of weeks, where the UK’s fastest young swimmers will be battling it out.

From 19th–25th July, Sam Smith, Sean Smith (not pictured), and Quinn Kelly will be diving into action at the Next Gen Championships. These rising stars will be testing their skills against the country’s best up-and-coming swimmers.

The excitement continues the following week with the English Summer Nationals from 29th July–3rd August, where Skipton will be proudly represented by a brilliant squad, Sam Smith, Sean Smith (not pictured), Poppy Dunne, Stanley Dunne, Jack Jenkinson, Phoebe Oliver, Betsy Rider, pictured with Head Coach Ian Scriven, who is proud of their hard work, dedication, and team spirit.

From early morning training sessions to smashing PBs, these swimmers have earned their place on the big stage—and now it’s time to enjoy every minute of it.
